Project forming part of the entire regeneration operation of the Corvetto district and in the detail of the public spaces surrounding the Sile 8 building

​

The renovation project of the Municipal Market of Piazzale Ferrara has the aim of returning to the district one of its symbolic buildings, as well as a central place of local daily life.

The intervention respects the original building in its architecture and compositional recognition, but generating a modern and hospitable market space inside.

The openings on the long fronts are rationalized, generating greater permeability to the south with the external square. Here a portico identifies a covered space as an extension of the market space to the outside.

The building is brought to energy class A with the installation of a photovoltaic system on the roof.
